1. General Terms

These General Terms apply to all bookings and accommodation agreements made between the "Client" and Hotel Idol.

Once a booking is accepted by Hotel Idol, a contract is formed between the Client and Hotel Idol; making a reservation implies acceptance of these General Terms.

2. Amendments to the General Terms

These General Terms may be amended at any time without notice. Before making your reservation, we recommend consulting the latest version available on our website.

3. General Terms and Use of Our Website

The use of our website is subject to the General Terms detailed below. By using this website, the Client acknowledges being legally bound by these General Terms.

All advertised discounted rates are limited offers, subject to availability, and may require a minimum stay.

Access to booking is limited to exclusive use by individuals or businesses, excluding any group of rooms constituted for the same period of stay. Any group request for more than 5 rooms must be submitted in writing (email) and will be subject to specific pricing and cancellation terms (group rates and cancellation conditions).

4. Website Use

The website is intended for use by individuals over the age of 18 who have the legal capacity to enter into a contract.

5. Online Bookings and Third-party Websites

Please note that different General Terms and cancellation policies may apply to online bookings made through booking agents or third-party websites, depending on the accommodation and the selected rate type.

We invite you to carefully review the rate information accessible before making your online reservation.

6. Payment Terms and Credit Card Payment Process

With the exception of Clients benefiting from the "Non-refundable" rate, Clients must pay the total balance upon arrival using their credit/debit card and verify using chip and PIN technology.

Upon arrival, Clients must also make a deposit either through a pre-authorization on their card or by cash payment (see the deposit section below).

Clients choosing our "Non-refundable" rate benefit from our best available prices at the time of booking. Full payment is required at the time of booking and is non-refundable. On its official website, the hotel uses the secure online transaction system from Stripe (www.stripe.com) and cannot be held responsible in case of payment refusal.

For security reasons, "Non-refundable" Clients, as well as those who booked through a third party and paid for their entire stay, must also validate a pre-authorization on their credit/debit card and provide a valid ID upon arrival.

Hotel Idol accepts major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express) as well as cash only in euros, up to 1,000€ per stay.

Hotel Idol does not accept checks. Upon request by the Client, bank transfers may be accepted, with all fees payable by the Client, subject to the funds being received and confirmed by the hotel no later than 48 hours before the start of the stay.

Hotel Idol reserves the right to validate a pre-authorization on credit cards used as a guarantee for bookings up to the amount of the first night of the stay before arrival. Hotel Idol also reserves the right to cancel bookings associated with refused or invalid credit cards.

Credit/debit card transactions will be charged at the local exchange rate. Hotel Idol declines any responsibility for any additional fees applied by banking institutions.

7. Cancellations and No-Shows

In accordance with Article L. 221-28 of the Consumer Code, the Client does not have the right of withdrawal provided in Article L. 221-18 of the same code. The sales conditions specific to the reserved rate specify the cancellation and/or modification terms of the reservation.

Any cancellations must be made by email and are only effective upon receipt by the hotel. A written confirmation will be sent to the Client. Without this confirmation, the cancellation cannot be considered recorded. It is therefore incumbent upon the Client to ensure that their request has been duly received.

For any booking made through a third-party partner, the cancellation must be received by the hotel no later than noon (local time), two days before the scheduled arrival date. For any reservation made directly on the hotel's website, cancellation must be made at the latest before noon (local time), the day before the planned arrival date. A cancellation number will be provided to the Client, who must keep it.

Any cancellation after the deadline or the absence of the Client on the scheduled arrival day will be considered a "no-show." In such a case, the total amount of the stay may be due and remain non-refundable, in accordance with the applicable rate conditions.

Bookings with full prepayment ("Non-refundable") cannot be modified or cancelled. The total amount of the stay and any extras is debited at the time of booking and remains due to the hotel.

In case of early departure by the Client, the entire reserved stay may be charged. No refund will be granted, including for prepaid bookings.

The Client recognizes and accepts that the aforementioned cancellation fees constitute a fair and reasonable estimate of the damage suffered by the hotel in the event of cancellation. These provisions are subject to Article 22 "Disputes and Force Majeure," which defines the cases in which neither Party can be held responsible for non-performance of its obligations, in accordance with Article 1218 of the Civil Code and French case law.

8. Bookings Made Through Other Channels

Bookings can be made through other channels, including online travel agencies, tour operators or other websites with specific rate and cancellation conditions. We invite you to carefully review your booking confirmation for more information.

9. Accommodation Changes by Hotel Idol

While every reasonable effort is made by Hotel Idol to honor the bookings made, the hotel reserves the right, in exceptional circumstances, to relocate a booking to accommodation of a similar category and standard nearby.

The Client acknowledges that Hotel Idol cannot be held responsible for any potential loss or damage resulting from this relocation.

10. Booking Modifications at the Client's Request

Should the Client wish to modify their booking (e.g., change the dates of stay or requested accommodation), Hotel Idol cannot guarantee that it will be able to comply with this request and disclaims any responsibility for any loss, damage, or additional expense incurred in such circumstances.

Modifications are not permitted for bookings made under the "Non-refundable" rate. They may be accepted for flexible bookings (subject to availability), provided the request is made at least 48 hours before the scheduled arrival date.

Additional charges may apply if the rate applicable to the new dates of stay differs from that of the original booking.

Any modification request must be made in writing.

11. Identification, Damage Deposits, and Extras – Pre-Authorization on Payment Card

A photo ID may be required upon your arrival.

Rooms can only accommodate the maximum number of guests indicated in their description and according to the applicable regulations for public establishments. Room access is reserved for individuals registered at check-in. At this time, the names of all occupants must be communicated to the hotel. No additional occupants may be added after registration without prior authorization from the hotel.

Hotel Idol reserves the right to request a deposit upon arrival.

A guarantee of 50€ per night and per occupied room may be requested in addition to the stay payment.

Only one payment can be made, and the individual making the payment will be considered responsible for the stay and the behavior of other occupants.

This guarantee may be used to cover incidental charges, including, but not limited to: breakage, damage to hotel property, cleaning costs related to a room left in an unacceptably dirty condition, excessively high electricity consumption, or any violation of house rules, including smoking in rooms or disturbing other guests' peace.

The deposit may also be used in the event of the presence of unauthorized visitors within the hotel or its facilities.

At the end of the stay and in the absence of damage or additional charges, the bank pre-authorization will be released in accordance with the timeframes applied by the Client's banking institution. As an indication, this period generally ranges between 3 and 10 working days, but may vary depending on banking institutions.

The Client acknowledges that the bank pre-authorization system does not result in an immediate debit but may temporarily reduce the available limit of their credit card for the duration of the pre-authorization validity. Hotel Idol cannot be held responsible for delays related to the release of pre-authorizations by banking institutions or credit card companies.

In the event of damage caused to the hotel or disturbances affecting other clients, the corresponding amounts may be retained from the deposit paid. Only the remaining balance will be returned to the Client.

If the expenses incurred exceed the amount of the deposit, the Client agrees to indemnify Hotel Idol for all damages, additional cleaning charges, or other expenses incurred, including any collection fees.

The Client expressly authorizes Hotel Idol to charge their credit card for any reasonable amount due for expenses not covered by the deposit.

12. Arrival and Departure Requirements – Return of Keys

The Client must comply with the applicable rules of Hotel Idol during check-in and check-out procedures. Unless otherwise agreed, rooms are generally available from 3:00 PM on the day of arrival.

In the context of online check-in, the hotel reserves the right to verify the identities of each occupant. In the case of online payment, the Client must be the holder of the credit card used for the payment and issued in their name. The credit card used for payment may be requested upon arrival. In case of dispute or inability to verify, the hotel reserves the right to request another payment method or to cancel the booking.

To guarantee an early arrival (before 10:00 AM), it is necessary to pre-book the room starting from the previous night. In the event of a no-show in this context, fees equivalent to two nights may be charged.

Unless otherwise agreed in advance, rooms must be vacated and keys returned before 11:00 AM on the day of departure. Late check-outs may be granted subject to availability and may incur additional charges. An extra night may be charged for check-outs after 3:00 PM.

If the Client does not appear for check-out procedures before 3:00 PM on the scheduled day without prior authorization, Hotel Idol reserves the right to remove personal belongings from the room and disclaims any liability for any potential loss or damage.

13. Facilities/Services Included in the Price

All rooms are fully furnished and equipped with amenities such as television, minibar, coffee machine, kettle, etc.

Meals and drinks are not included in the offer, unless otherwise specified in the Client's booking.

No items or equipment should be removed from the room. The list of items, equipment, and services as well as their rates is available at the hotel's reception.

All advertised prices include bed linen, towels, and access to television and Wi-Fi internet. Private Wi-Fi use is subject to applicable French laws, particularly regarding securing and identifying connections via IP address. The user remains responsible for actions taken through their access, including those carried out by a third party.

The displayed prices include services typically offered by a hotel and VAT at the current rate. The city tax, not included and applicable to all persons aged 18 and over, will be collected by the hotel and mentioned on the Client's invoice.

14. Liability for Damage or Loss of Client's Property

The Client is solely responsible for the Services selected on the site and their suitability for their needs. Hotel Idol cannot be held responsible in this regard.

The Client is also solely responsible for the information provided when booking a Service. Hotel Idol cannot be held responsible for incorrect, incomplete, or fraudulent information provided by the Client. Additionally, only the Client is responsible for the use of their account and any bookings made, both in their personal name and on behalf of third parties, including minors unless fraudulent use is demonstrated to have resulted from no fault or negligence on their part.

In this regard, Hotel Idol must be immediately notified of any misuse or fraudulent use of the Client's email address.

The Client agrees to use the website and the Services offered in compliance with the applicable regulations and these General Terms. In case of a breach of their obligations, the Client will be liable for damages caused to Hotel Idol or third parties. As such, the Client agrees to indemnify Hotel Idol against any claims, actions, or recourse arising therefrom and to indemnify it for all related damages, costs, or expenses.

The Client specifically undertakes, when making a definitive booking for a Service, to pay the price and to comply with the applicable Specific Conditions.

In particular:

Any reservation or payment irregular, inoperative, incomplete, or fraudulent for any reason attributable to the Client will result in the cancellation of the reservation at the Client's expense, without prejudice to any action that Hotel Idol might pursue against them;

The Client must not invite individuals whose behavior may harm the hotel, its staff, or its clients;

If payment has not yet been made, the Client must settle the amount for Services consumed before leaving;

Minors may only stay at the establishment if accompanied by an adult and in possession of personal identification. If the accompanying adult is not the parents, they must have parental authorization. Hotel Idol may request presentation of these documents;

The Client also undertakes that any computer resources provided by Hotel Idol, including Wi-Fi network, will not be used for any purpose of reproducing, representing, making available, or communicating to the public copyrighted works or content without the permission of the right holders when required. The Client is also obligated to comply with the internet service provider's security policy and refrain from any actions affecting the security measures put in place.

The Client remains responsible for any damage caused by themselves or their guests within Hotel Idol and will bear all costs incurred by such damage or by the disregard of the aforementioned rules. Hotel Idol reserves the right to intervene if necessary.

15. Liability for Damage or Loss of Hotel Idol's Property

The Client is obliged to take reasonable care of their room and all the equipment and items provided during their stay at Hotel Idol.

The room and all furniture, equipment, and installations must be left in a proper state of cleanliness and order at the end of the stay. Failing to do so may result in extra charges for cleaning or restoration.

The Client is invited to ensure doors and windows are closed when absent from the room.

Unless caused by normal wear and tear, the Client remains responsible for any damage to the room, its contents, or the hotel's facilities during their stay, resulting from negligence, deliberate omission, or irresponsible behavior by themselves, room occupants, or their guests.

All observed damages must be reported without delay to the hotel management.

16. Use of Hotel Idol and Peaceful Enjoyment of the Premises for All Visitors
